Hello,
My name is Robin and I am the Secretary & Development Officer of Mistley Cricket Club, feel free to contact on my details above or simply wander down to our picturesque ground and ask any of our numerous members for more info.
The club runs 2 Saturday & 2 Sunday teams who play in Division 1,5, Division 'C' of the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship. This league covers North & Mid Essex & most of Suffolk. In 2011 we will also be competing in the Piri Piri North Esssex League Premier Division.
The most famous cricketer to play for our club is Essex & England fast bowler Neil Foster who played at New Road before moving on to Colchester & then Essex.
We also run a flourishing Junior Section with boys & girls competing in competitions for age groups 7-16 years old.
Junior practice takes place on a Tuesday Night under the guidance of the Club's ECB Qualified Coaches & Senior practice is Wednesday Nights.
